Mariveles Mayor AJ Concepcion and Vice Mayor Lito Rubia recently spearheaded the conduct of 2nd Abot-Kamay Hanggang Barangay sa Panahon ng Pandemya held in Brgy. Malaya.

Provided to village folks for non-medical services were late birth registration;dog/cat vaccination;senior citizen and PWD registration; national I.D. registration; job fair;disaster preparedness orientation; solid waste management orientation;free haircut; and distribution of seedlings.

Medical services offered to Malaya residents were consultation (non-Covid only); dental care(fluoride application);HPN/DM screening; maternal health care; flu vaccination; and Covid-19 vaccination. Other services provided were PhilHealth profiling; CPR training; boat registration; fisherfolk registration; and farmers registration.

The Sangguniang Bayan led by Rubia is giving full support to the program to provide services at the grassroots level. “We bring the government closer to people with Serbisyong Abot-Kamay Hanggang Barangay”, the mayor said. Municipal Administrator Tito Catipon, a former three-term councilor, authored at the municipal council the unique program at the time of former mayor Jesse Concepcion.
